Product overview.
-Overview: 'RS THREE' is the second Acoustune monitor earphone product that combines
high durability and monitoring performance.

Based on the RS ONE, this model is further infused with the sound quality technology of
the HS series to create a sound suitable for music production. The compact, lightweight
and fatigue-free design allows you to build a small, comfortable monitoring environment
that you can carry with you anywhere. On the practical side, it has a small body that
can be worn by anyone, while clearing up the parts of the RS ONE that are prone to
problems such as broken spouts, broken connectors and housing parts, and poor
cable contact, which are well-known for the RS ONE. Furthermore, the cable
has been improved to a length that is easy to handle in studios and other locations,
with less tangling and less touch noise.

In the planning of RS THREE, we interviewed a number of well-known professional composers.
As a result, we found that many of them use multiple environments (speakers, headphones and earphones) when creating music.
When we delved into what is required of earphones in areas that are different from speakers and headphones, we found
that sound monitoring performance such as ultra-low frequencies, sissy sounds, lip sounds and panning is in high demand.
The RS THREE is tailored to make these sounds easier to hear while also providing monitoring performance on its own, and
can be used in conjunction with speakers and headphones to further enhance the sound quality of songs.
-Myrinx EL-S driver combining high input with high acoustic performance.

The Myrinx EL-S is based on the Myrinx EL, but with a more closely controlled diaphragm.
acoustune has developed the Myrinx EL driver for the RS ONE using the know-how of the Myrinx driver.
the Myrinx EL-S driver is a more accurate monitoring driver than the Myrinx driver. The material used for the
Myrinx EL-S is an ultra-high performance resin that is used in medical applications, yet is lightweight,
extremely rigid and boasts extremely high acoustic performance with high internal loss.
The high internal loss reduces extraneous incidental sounds that adversely affect the sense of air
and localisation, and enables the fine monitoring of sound fields and panning required by recent
high-resolution sound sources.
In order to make the most of this Myrinx EL-S driver, a large back cavity behind the diaphragm
has been secured and the distance from the diaphragm to the grille has been placed to achieve
a high input resistance that allows normal use even after a momentary input of up to
250 mW*1 of signal. This gives the earphones' speakers a robustness that prevents them from
breaking even in the event of a sudden large input. The diaphragm's large stroke width brings out
the bass as if it were a loudspeaker, providing the quality monitoring required by recent music.

-Highly robust body resistant to shock, heat and sweat.
The number of parts has been reduced and a highly robust body has been achieved through extensive research
into the parts that are likely to break in ear monitors based on market surveys. The housing consists of two parts
and is made of polycarbonate with excellent impact, weather and heat resistance. By reducing the number of
parts as much as possible, it is simpler and more rigid component by component, greatly reducing the risk of
failure even in harsh environments. The faceplate part plays a role in increasing the rigidity of the body while
giving it an identity as an ear monitor. In addition, the compact body has been tailored to a housing design
that can be used by a wide range of men and women.

-Uses highly reliable Pentaconn Ear connectors.
(The new Pentaconn Ear IEM connector, designed and manufactured by Nippon Dics Corporation,
boasts high sound quality and reliability. The plug and jack are in closer contact with each other than
with conventional MMCX connectors, providing superior conduction performance. It also offers both ease
of detachment and robustness.

-Newly developed earphone cable with high reliability and easy handling (ARM011L)
The cable uses a braided wire made of high-purity Litz wire and Kevlar wire, with a PU material sheath to improve handling.
Twisting this material has resulted in a cable that is flexible, easy to handle and resistant to disconnection.
The Pentaconn Ear Long-Type connector is designed to prevent sweat from getting into the connector,
reducing the risk of contact failures due to wear and tear and perspiration from connection and disconnection and use,
compared to other connectors. In addition, the cable can be easily detached and replaced in the event of disconnection,
making it a structure that is designed with practicality in mind.
